Monday Night Raw

The good:

• Jericho is so much better as a cocky heel with no facial hair. I'm glad he'll be getting to wrestle for the title at SummerSlam


• I liked the way they used Roddy Piper, though I had to ask, "Is Shawn Michaels the new Legend Killer?" Add Bret Hart to the list and he just might be.


• We knew it would probably happen soon, but it was cool seeing Matt Striker appear in WWE. You can always expect Vince to capitalize on current events. I would have had Striker last the three minutes with Angle though.
  
• Matt Hardy's return was perfect. Sure we all knew it was coming, but it was booked just like the Brian Pillman hates WCW storyline ten years ago.


• HBK's new look is pretty awesome. All white with a big cross hanging off his neck. It's kind of like an evil priest or something. It's so great to see him playing the heel again.

The Bad:

• As always - the Diva Search


• Carlito walking out of his match with Benjamin. I have no problem with it, as such that it adds heel heat to Carlito, but it keeps Benjamin strong. Say it with me...Shelton Benjamin is boring.


• I don't really like the Coach/Lawler/JR format. Get rid of one of the three.


• If I have to hear "running like a scalded dog" or "goofy as a pet coon" one more time...

That's about it. Raw was pretty good last night. I hope they don't screw up the Matt Hardy stuff.
