Hollywood's Three Big Lies

Here's an interesting transcript from a Michael Medved speech.

"...general rubric of Hollywood's Three Big Lies.
Those three lies are number one: we just reflect reality, we don't shape reality. Lie number two: we just give the public what it wants. It's only a matter of the prophet motive. And lie number three is the lie that says, 'Hey, if you don't like this material it's always easy to turn it off. And meanwhile, stop complaining about it and making our lives more difficult.'"
