Omaha, NE to be new U.S. Capitol
How do I know? Because a Seventh Day Adventist traveled through time from 2036 to tell us.
Also, a civl war will break out in the United States in 2005. So I read this a few years too late. Maybe our time traveling friends helped us avoid it.
Here's some quotes from his interview:
In 2036, I live in central Florida with my family and I'm currently stationed at an Army base in Tampa. A world war in 2015 killed nearly three billion people. The people that survived grew closer together. Life is centered on the family and then the community. I cannot imagine living even a few hundred miles away from my parents.
Religion is a major part of people's life in 2036. Pain and change tend to bring people together and closer to God. However, religion is far more personal than it is now. There are no huge, centralized religions and people talk openly about their beliefs. It might also interest you to know that the day of worship is Saturday, the day God meant to be the Sabbath and the 10 commandments have been restored to the "10" that God gave us.
In 2036, a great deal of effort is going into "repairing" our environment. I was sent to 1975 to get a computer system and take it back to 2036. Time travel is not a secret in 2036 and I expect it will become more common.
Wait a second... They need to build a TIME MACHINE in order to got back to 1975 to get a computer?????? My neighor's dog is barking right now. I think I'll build a time machine so that I can go back to 1952 and grab a sling shot.
Click on the link to read the whole thing AND see ACTUAL PICTURES OF HIS TIME MACHINE!!! How could anyone pass us this opportunity?! (Perhaps I'm not adjusting well to my gf being out of the country....)

EDIT: I just discoved an entire website devoted to our time traveling friend: John Titor.com Alas, our dear John returned to the future in 2001.
