Ron Paul, the Real Republican?
Check it out. Fox News actually has a column about Congressman Ron Paul.
Ron Paul has run as the presidential candidate for the Libertarian Party in the past.
If there's still any Republicans out there who actually care about this great country, we NEED to get this man through the primaries. Sure he's not one of the media darlings (suck ups) that McCain, Rudy, or Chuck "bin" Hagel are, but it would be great if he's included in the debates.
At least then maybe some Republicans would open their eyes and see what their party has become in the last four years. Maybe even the phony conservatives at Fox News.
"Ronald Reagan once said that libertarianism is 'the very heart and soul of conservatism' (Reagan was great at communicating the principles of limited government, if less great at actually implementing them). Of all the candidates so far declared, only Paul can credibly lay claim to the legacy of the Reagan-Goldwater revolution. How well he does, how long he lasts, and who ends up defeating him will reveal whether there's any limited government allegiance at all still stirring the Republican Party."
